Updated
Automating real-time data mining to publish accurate, up-to-date luxury property listings
Client Overview
The client is a prominent Indian real estate developer specializing in luxury residential projects. With a strong brand reputation and high-value inventory, maintaining accurate and up-to-date property information was critical to customer trust and sales performance.
Property data was sourced from multiple internal teams and local partners, making manual updates slow, error-prone, and difficult to scale. The client partnered with NeoSOFT to automate the ingestion, validation, and publishing of property data across its digital portal.
Challenge
- Providing customers with accurate and current property information, without delays or inconsistencies
- Verifying property data submitted by multiple internal and external sources
- Manual handling of emails and attachments, slowing down publishing cycles
- Ensuring a premium user experience, despite frequent listing updates
Our Approach
NeoSOFT designed a solution centered on automation, validation, and scalability.
Automated Data Mining
Incoming emails containing property details and attachments were automatically processed, removing the need for manual intervention.
Data Verification Workflow
Submitted data was validated before publishing, ensuring only accurate and approved listings appeared on the portal.
Serverless Processing Pipeline
A cloud-native architecture handled high data volumes efficiently, allowing updates to be published in near real time.
User-Centric Portal Design
The frontend experience emphasized clarity and ease of navigation, aligning with the expectations of luxury buyers.
Technical Spotlight
- Automated Email Data Processing: Python scripts were used to read incoming emails, extract attachments, and prepare property data for ingestion.
- Serverless Data Processing: AWS Lambda processed incoming data, triggered validations, and notified engineers when exceptions occurred.
- High-Performance Data Storage: MySQL supported bulk data insertion and fast retrieval of property records.
- Reliable Cloud Infrastructure: AWS provided the foundation for scalability, reliability, and secure operations.
Solution Delivered
- Automated ingestion of property data from multiple sources

Ingest, validate, publish
The case study names the order itself: the client set out to automate the ingestion, validation and publishing of property data. The three steps follow it.
- IngestPython scripts read incoming emails, extract the attachments and prepare the property data, with no manual handling.
- ValidateAWS Lambda processes the data and triggers validations, notifying engineers when exceptions occur, so only accurate, approved listings go forward.
- PublishVerified listings, stored in MySQL, reach the portal in near real time behind a clean interface for premium property browsing.
From an email to a published listing
The pipeline's named parts from left to right, with the exception path the case study describes.
Figure 1. From an incoming email to a verified listing on the portal
Every part is named on the case study: emails with property details and attachments, Python scripts, AWS Lambda processing and validation with engineers notified on exceptions, MySQL storage, and the portal. AWS runs under the whole pipeline.
